February 2, 11-12:30pm in the Scott Nygren Studio (Library West 212)

Please join us for a workshop that helps demystify the process of  how to write a book proposal, from standard forms to timelines and more with the inside perspective from the UF Press on how the process works at a university press. Learn about The workshop will include an introduction to the University Press of Florida, including the role and operations of the press, tips about selecting a university press to submit to, time to see and review copies of a UF book proposal form, and engagement in a lively Q&A on the book proposal document and what happens once the book proposal is accepted or rejected.

Snacks will be served. Event by the George A. Smathers Library, UF Press, and Center for the Humanities and Public Sphere.
