DH at UF is Public Humanities, with exciting events that support all forms and methods of academic work:

An Introduction to the Imagining America’s Publicly Active Graduate Education (PAGE) Fellowship
Lily Hodges (University of California, Davis) & Brittany Farr (University of Southern California)
Monday, 11 April, 12:00 – 1:00 pm
McCarty Hall D 3042

Growing numbers of graduate students balance their scholarly work with community-engaged initiatives and interests in advancing social justice. But finding ways to bridge this work is not always easy. The PAGE Fellowship supports graduate students in making their public scholarship, social justice, and civic engagement work applicable and strategic for academic and non-academic jobs.

In this workshop, Lily Hodges and Brittany Farr will discuss their experiences as PAGE Fellows, the value of public scholarship in graduate education, and offer tips to prepare and apply for a PAGE Fellowship.
