Introduction to Arduinos in Marston Science Library

November 3, 2015 @ 11:45 am - 1:45 pm

Have you ever wanted to be a maker, hacker, or coder? Wanted to learn more about Arduinos and why they are so popular? Arduinos are inexpensive open-source micro-controllers that can be used to build an amazing range of devices with add-on sensors and basic programming. Join us in Marston Science Library for a hands-on introduction to building with Arduinos, taught by Aaron Beveridge and Emily Brooks. Each participant will learn the basics of DIY electronics by coding and constructing a sensor that detects knocks and plays music tones using equipment provided by the library. Participants will need to bring their own laptop with software pre-installed (details will be sent to participants before the workshop). Beginners are especially welcome and no programming or Arduino experience is necessary.

You can choose either of the 2-hour workshops, they are both the same.
